Each OPERACE instrument kit contains single use inserts which can be used with PB Swiss Tools handles or medical drills.
Single use inserts (screwdrivers, extraction screws, drills, extraction reamers) are supplied in sterile form in double blister packaging and are intended for single use only.
The screwdriver inserts are designed in such a way that the sizes of MINI, SMALL and LARGE cannot be combined. This ensures that the manual torque attainable with the handle is aligned with the torque of the screws.
HIGH-QUALITY SPECIAL STEEL
The drills are made from HSS (High Speed Steel*). The special alloys of PB Swiss Tools are used for all other areas of application. They are more tenacious and break-proof than other steels.
