The mountain is calling: The Making of Pistenbully 2016
Location: Matterhorn, Switzerland. The Matterhorn (4478 meters above sea level) represents Switzerland like no other mountain. 150 years ago, it was climbed for the first time. Its distinctive appearance is known throughout the world – just like the international ski arena . On more than 360 kilometers of ski slopes, it offers wintry adventures for skiing and snow lovers from all countries. The Matterhorn accompanied us in the media in 2015 – and in 2016, it is at the center of our pictorial world. For this purpose, we took pictures at the Gornergrat and at the Trockener Steg. Pit stop after 600 operating hours. 34 vehicles belong to the Pistenbully fleet of Zermatt . During the winter season, they prepare 165 kilometers of ski slopes every day and consume 27 liters of diesel fuel per hour in the process.
