The advantage of the color-coding system
PB Swiss Tools is the inventor of the color-coding system for hand tools. With the RainBow L-wrench in a plastic holder, the colors are assigned based on the different sizes. Once you have got to grips with the system, the right tool can always be found quickly. This saves a great deal of valuable time for both apprentices and experienced workers – as was shown by the test. The system also holds up to regular use, as the colors do not peel off when used extremely frequently.
Small details, massively suitable for everyday work
One of the positive aspects identified by the testing was that the dimensions of the RainBow L-wrench are user-optimized with a longer handle and shorter key part. This results in the tool being comfortable to hold in the hand – even when used intensively.
As regards suitability for everyday use, the ball point allowed the tradespersons taking part in the test to turn loose screws to an angle of up to 30°, which means that almost every screw can be made accessible.

About the test
In the product test carried out on behalf of PB Swiss Tools on “meister-testen”, the PB 212 LH RB – RainBow L-wrenches, long, with ball point, set in a practical plastic holder from PB Swiss Tools was tested by 50 tradespersons from July 2021 to September 2021. The product test focused on the day-to-day use, the practicability as well as the manufacture, quality and design. Other important aspects of the test included the shape, the ball point of an individual L-wrench, the fitting accuracy and the weight.
